The Flamefast Kitchensafe system is quick and easy to install and compatible with all four and six burner ranges. It can be installed next to the appliance or inside a kitchen cupboard out of sight.
This unique system consists of an easy to clean stainless steel wall mounted cabinet
which houses the wetting agent tank and electronics. The system is supplied with a manifold which houses the nozzles, temperature sensor and quick release hoses which connect to
the cabinet.
Kitchensafe operates automatically in the event of fire and has a typical fire knock down time within 5 seconds of discharge, allowing the remaining discharge time to render the affected area completely safe. The benefits over the use of traditional fire blankets are obvious
The Kitchensafe system has a dedicated interface for remote gas detectors and can also be connected into a BMS system. If a fire occurs in a remote location such as student accommodation, an alarm can be raised in the central control area. Finally, a dedicated fuel supply shut off will automatically cut off gas and electric supplies if the system is discharged.
The system requires a 240v AC, 3 amp power supply.
Standard features include:
Fuel Cut-Off
To prevent re-ignition, it is recommended that the fuel supply to the appliance is controlled by the system. A standard 240v AC control interface is provided for use with either a Gas Solenoid or Electric Switch.
Gas Detection
For use with gas appliances. gas detectors can be wired to the system to prevent asphyxiation. These can be either Natural Gas, LPG, or Carbon Monoxide.
Two Stage Temperature Detection
The system has a low and high alarm level. An audible alarm sounds at 100C to make the user aware that high temperatures have been detected, the system discharges if the temperature rises to 120C. The low alarm must be acknowledged with the re set button once the temperature has dropped below the alarm level.
Battery Back-Up
The system has a 30 minute battery back-up, In the event of a power loss the appliance can continue to be used if the fuel cut off facility is being utilised.
BMS
A Building Management System Interface is fitted as standard if Warden monitoring
is required.
Service Reminder
The system will remind the user every 12 months that a service is required. This is in the form of an audible intermittent tone. |
