GasGuard™4 - Commercial Kitchen Canopy Interlock

A proven and versatile gas interlocking system to BS6173 requirements offering maximum protection against carbon monoxide poisoning. The basic system consists of a wall mounted control panel, solenoid valve or proving valve, depending on application requirements, and Carbon Monoxide detector.

This unique system provides either basic interlocking or full gas system integrity testing and detects all levels of leaks unlike other systems using weep bypass methods. The system has two extract interfaces working on a double trip for a pre-warning and a time delay built into the software to avoid nuisance tripping. BS6173 dictates that the extraction system in a commercial kitchen must be on and running
effectively before allowing a gas supply to the appliances.

The GasGuard™4 is quick and easy to install and does not require a Gas Safe engineer for commissioning or extra pipe work for weep-by-pass venting. It has both proving and non proving facilities.
